A small staff coordinates the efforts of the National Poverty Center, but the NPC’s strength is our collaborative, diverse network of research affiliates, which includes many scholars based within the University of Michigan as well as a limited number of top researchers from around the country.

These researchers and analysts contribute their research to our working paper series, participate in conferences or policy roundtables, write newsletter articles, teach workshops, and more. Our affiliated scholars include experts from a wide range of disciplines, including economists, demographers, psychologists, sociologists, political scientists, social work and public health researchers, historians, and methodologists.

Call for applications: NPC Research Affiliates
